1. INTRODUCTION

Neighbourhood Weekender is a 2-day festival in Victoria Park, Warrington taking place on Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th May 2025. There is no camping and each day this opens at 12:00 with a curfew of 22:30. The festival site has 3 stages; one main outdoor stage, one tent and a third smaller stage.

2. BOOKABLE CARER TICKETS AND ADDITIONAL FACILITIES

All accessible tickets are bookable online via Gigs and Tours hereĀ 

This is a general admission standing ticket (with no seated access) and automatically includes 1 x companion ticket at no extra cost (proof of accessibility such as PIP form/blue badge/medical letter to please be uploaded at the time of booking).

You will be emailed post booking with further information about how to request a space on the accessible viewing platform. This space is not guaranteed and is subject to capacity with each request will be managed on a first come first served basis. (You must have a valid booked ticket to apply).

 

4. SITE DESCRIPTION

The festival takes place in Victoria Park, Warrington and is a fully outdoor festival, on a grass field. The terrain is uncertain due to weather conditions being unpredictable. There is an accessible lane entrance to the site, which is next to the main entrance via Knutsford Road.

 

6. TRAVEL GUIDE PARKING

There is no car parking on site. Festival car parking is located at Sir Thomas Boteler Grammar School and is accessed via wash lane; please follow festival signage on the day.

Accessible parking can be prebooked via Gigs and Tours here This is within the main car park and is an approximate 10-15minute walking distance to the festival site. (Proof of accessibility to please be uploaded at the time of booking).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT We would suggest taking public transport where possible. There are trains that frequently to Warrington Central and Warrington Bank Quay and public buses running to the festival site frequently.

PICK UP / DROP OFF We will be operating a pick up drop off for customers which is at Sir Thomas Boteler Grammar and can be accessed from Wash Lane, please follow festival signage on the day and instructions from festival stewards.

7. ARRIVAL GUIDE

Entry to the festival site is via Knutsford road and is hard standing up until the entrance gate.

At the gate you will find the box office for any queries and the ticket scanning lanes; this is where your ticket is swapped for your festival wristband. Following this is the search lanes before entrance into the festival. The accessible entrance is shared with the VIP entrance into the site.

Note all customers are subject to search and all bags will be searched, we ask that you do not bring a bag bigger than A4 size with you for security reasons.

Once inside the festival the ground is grass and can get muddy, dependant on the weather, although it is generally flat.

8. TOILETS

Across the festival site there are several accessible toilets, these are for use by those who have accessibility requirements as a priority however these are not locked or for exclusive use. The toilets will be patrolled by our security team who you will be able to recognise in a high visibility jacket / tabard.

9. MEDICAL SERVICES

There are several first aid tents located on the site which are open during all times of the event and available to all. These are run and managed by St Johns Ambulance. In addition, we have a welfare area which is available to all attendees and managed by Festival Welfare. The site map and further festival information will be emailed to all lead bookers closer to the time of the festival.

10. ACCESS TO PERFORMANCE

Unfortunately, at this stage Neighbourhood weekender does not have any captioning or audio description available.

12. STROBE LIGHTING

Due to the nature of some of the performances there may be strobe lighting used across the festival site.
