Yesterday Maisie Peters released the fan-centered video for her minor piano ballad ‘Feels Like This’. The simplistic yet effective black-and-white video from the Brighton singer-songwriter was filmed on her UK tour supporting Tom Walker throughout October.

In the description of the YouTube video, Peters wrote “I made my TM Harry and keys player Tina come with me to a random Scottish stationers to get a s****y whiteboard and pen. I then asked the audience every night before I played Feels Like This that if they wanted to be involved in my music video, all they had to do was come see me after the show and write a message to someone they loved about absolutely anything.”

She used over 150 clips of fans holding up messages to their loved ones, which included the likes of “Thanks for making me me again”, “I love you! Double infinity” and the heartwarming “You’ll do…”

‘Feels Like This’ showcases her soft voice at its most elegant, as well as conveys the 18-year-old’s maturity in her songwriting. It’s the closing track on her debut EP Dressed Too Nice For  A Jacket, which was released early last month. Atwood Magazine commented Peters has “the lyrical prowess of Taylor Swift mixed with the delicate yet fierce vocals of Ed Sheeran” and Dressed To Nice For A Jacket is a ” a powerful, downright masterful introduction.”
